ABOUT
After eighteen years in Clinical practice, Lauren (she/her), living and working on Garigal Land in the Eora Nation, focuses on training, supervision, and education of future behaviour analysts. She is passionate about utilising the science of behaviour analysis to impact socially significant, individualised goals to ensure every person can live the life they want. Experienced in supporting children, adolescents and young adults with significant and profound intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour, she aims to equip students of behaviour analysis with the skills, knowledge, and compassion to be able to provide effective, safe, and person-centred support.
WHY SEVEN DIMENSIONS?
The seven dimensions of applied behaviour analysis lend credence to a hallmark journal article in the behaviour analytic literature (Baer, Wolf, and Risely, 1968). The article discusses attributes of the science of behaviour analysis that can inform ethical, practical, effective and humane supports.
This includes:

-
being socially significant
-
describing behaviour clearly
-
being analytical by utilising data to inform decisions
-
ensuring support is effective
-
being conceptually systematic and applying a scientific curiosity to all work
-
utilising behavioural science technologies, and,
-
planning for generalisation so skills are maintained across multiple environments, people, and resources.

These dimensions have underpinned all of our Clinical Experience and Supervision and provide an astute framework for providing support within a behaviour analytic system.
